World Teachers’ Day, also known as the International Teachers Day, is an international day held annually on October 5. The day was recognized in 1994 to honor the signing of the 1966 UNESCO/ International Labor Organization around the world. This has ever since, been a standard setting instrument that addresses the status and situations of teachers and educators. World Teachers’ Day aims to focus on Appreciating, evaluating and cultivating the teachers’ and tutors’ skills. The day is reserved and dedicated to celebrate the teaching profession focusing on educators’ achievements and other programs that help attract and keep the brightest minds and young talents within the profession. Teachers at KEIS had their share of this celebration. The school celebrated the day with beautiful flower arrangements capturing happy moments around its campus. The school built standing boards where students were asked to write whatever comes first to their minds when thinking of their teachers.
